The Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative is Jack Ma Foundation’s flagship philanthropic entrepreneur program that gives African entrepreneurs the chance to tell their story to the world and receive funding, guidance and mentorship from business legends.

As an ANPI African Business Hero, you gain global recognition, funds & the resources needed to grow your business. The top 10 finalists will share $1.5M prize money!!

WomenWork in collaboration with ANPI’s Program and Partnerships Manager, Zahra Baitie hosted an info session  on Thursday 4th June, for participants to learn more about the opportunity, ask questions about the application process and get any clarification they needed

Apply now to be an ANPI Business Hero! Requirements are simple and the deadline is June 22! Applicants must be;
  • African entrepreneurs – either founder or co-founder. (Note: African descent typically defined as the applicant is an African citizen or has parents who are African citizens)
  • Based in Africa. i.e. operations on the continent (including both business registration and headquarters or primary operations)
  • Post-idea stage and can demonstrate at least 3 years of revenue (not necessarily consecutively)
