Asha’s career over the past 10 years has focused on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ventures in Africa. She brings her experience co-founding and running her own companies and implementing and executing strategies for startups, SMEs and entrepreneurial support providers such as Novastar Ventures.

Prior to joining Novastar, she led East Africa’s regional expansion at Sinapis Group, a global accelerator supporting SMEs. Asha was responsible for expanding Sinapis footprint in the country and regionally across Africa. She performed scoping analysis on new markets and regions, building and implementing Sinapis first sustainable, scalable case model.

Asha has workedwith over 1000 entrepreneurs in across 7 markets on the continent. Asha also brings experience developing business competitions and screening start-ups for funding.
